Feel The Royal Fashion With Palamuti Fascinators

When the fashionable Duchess Georgina Spencer of Devonshire in the late 1700s had been seen sporting such huge Ostrich feathers as a headdress, many women followed suit. The bright-colored and fanciful ornament which at that time was referred to as a statement piece were very often caught the attention of people, thus got the name “fascinators.” These fun headpieces were often decorated by feathers, flowers, beads, and laces.

Just like a normal hair accessory, fascinators are fixed to a comb, a clip, some pins, or a headband and are often worn on formal occasions like weddings and ceremonies. After some time, many women had been spotted wearing it on horse races and other sports events mostly in the UK and other parts of Europe.

Lately, the fascinator trend had been sparked to life again when the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore this statement piece on her public appearances. True to word, on her wedding day, numerous attendees put on their glamorous versions of fascinators to be in line with the royal fashion.
