Outfits on the Year of the Horse

The spirit of the horse is recognized to be the Chinese people's ethos – making unremitting efforts to improve themselves. It is energetic, bright, warm-hearted, intelligent and able. Ancient people liked to designate an able person as 'Qianli Ma', a horse that covers a thousand li a day (one li equals 500 meters). - Travel China Guide

Time flies by so fast, and now we welcome another Chinese New Year!  Though a Chinese celebration, it is well received and recognized around the world. This time, it's the Year of the Horse! Inspired by this generations old tradition, we designed our handmade Palamuti pieces to emulate the spirit of celebrating new beginnings.

The Horse symbolizes freedom and beauty, traits and virtues that we wish to embody this year. In honor of the coming new year, we've made a few sets of outfits using Polyvore. As mentioned, we added a touch of our own, signature Palamuti Women Accessories handcrafted jewelry,  which you can purchase on our website.

Preview 1: Lily's Garden Bag Collection

We have always thought of creating and designing bags for Palamuti, as a new line of accessories for women, to include in our product offerings. This year, we were finally able to jump start the project by redesigning a locally made bag, by giving it a new look. These totes are made from pandan fiber, an indigenous material in the Philippines, which are then crafted by Filipino Artisans from Negros.

We decided to add our signature wire art designs using mother of pearl shells and acrylic crystals. These bags will soon be available on our website, but if you want to get your hands on these pieces now, feel free to send an email at info@palamutishop.com!

End of the Season Sale: Purchase Palamuti Through Soldsie

We designed daily wear accessories for women as part of our holiday collection. Last year, we sold them at our private selling events for our loyal clients. Now, we have some of them on sale, and you can purchase them through our Facebook Page.

We also recently signed up with Soldsie.  You can now purchase items on Facebook by commenting "SOLD". So check out these beauties for yourself and get them at discounted prices. With every purchase, you are supporting our passion and our advocacy, which is to provide employment opportunities for Filipino women artisans.
