Real Life Muses

I couldn't be more happier when our customers send us photos of themselves wearing our accessories. I believe that the story of each piece comes to life when they are being worn.Seeing these women happy and gleaming with confidence inspires me to keep designing new pieces. Our vision to make a difference not only to the wearer, but also our beaders, who have become our partner in making these beautiful pieces.

Getting Ready for the US

We will always be grateful to ABS- CBN’s The Filipino Channel for featuring us on “Orig” segment. We wouldn’t meet Michelle and Judy, two lovely women based in the California, who have become supporters of our endeavor. They have expressed their enthusiasm in supporting, marketing, and distributing our Palamuti products in the US, and committed likewise, to our goal of offering employment opportunities for women living in the urban poor areas of Metro Manila, Philippines. With Michelle and Judy's support, we will be set to open our official Palamuti online shop, enabling us to join the global platform to display our very own designs made by our trained crafts women, to the worldwide web.

We have recently sent new samples to our partners. These necklaces will soon be available for purchase in the US.

These beautiful embellished bibs were handcrafted by our trained craftswomen based in an urban poor area in Metro Manila, Philippines.

These necklaces are another version of the Awit ng Ibong Adarna design without the crystals.

If you are in the USA and are interested in our Palamuti pieces, you may get in touch with Michelle through the following information:

Women in the Real World

We have been writing about embellished necklaces and giving tips on ways for you to wear them. To show you how convenient it is to keep one or two pieces, here are some photos of women strutting their own style in the real world.

Leah wearing our Clarissa embellished necklace with a casual romper ready to invade the streets of Hong Kong. We love how she was able to pull off a casual laid back look but with elegance and style.

Another day at the office? We think not. Tita Mel surely knows how to work our Awit ng Ibong Adarna! The cyclical week long trip to the office can be tiresome and draining but looking and feeling good can just be the right nudge to keep you back on track.

As hosts of the Asian Institute of Management's event, Jen and her colleagues had to wear black. What better way to spruce her get up? Jen tweaks her all-black outfit with a neck piece that speaks to her style.

Looking good and classy, US based Filipina, Celsa wears our best seller collection,  Calliope with a basic red dress.

How will you wear a simple dress to a special occasion, such as a wedding? Ask Kim whose seen wearing our Amatullah.

You can express your presence, personality, and soul by the clothes and accessories you choose to wear but the real secret to pulling off these looks is you.

Charmed, I'm Sure: Charm Bracelets

It is said that the wearing of charm bracelets date back to prehistoric times, and was used to ward away evil spirits. The charms may also signify the individual's identification to the gods in the afterlife. In modern times charm bracelets have become an accessory to complete a wardrobe, though some still wear them for good luck; wishing for good fortune in the form of health, money and fame.  Gems, stones, wood or metal charms are incorporated into overall design of the bracelet.

For this post, we focus on our single rhodium chain charm bracelets from the Awit ng Ibong Adarna Collection. Using the technique we recently discovered, we used the beaded flower as the main charm of the bracelet and added crystals around the chain.

Here are some ways you can wear them two at a time.

1) Wear it on a casual day with your favorite sheer loose polo, paired with tight jeans and ballet flats. Wear two of our Awit ng Ibong Adarna single rhodium chain charm bracelets together in one wrist.

2) Wear it to the office. A simple, clean-cut pleated dress with a classic, yet contemporary cover up coupled with pumps, suggests an aura of female power dressing. Wearing slacks isn't the only way to show how serious you are at work. Add a touch of femininity to your outfit with two dainty charm bracelets.

3) Wear it on a date night, or on a special occasion. Show some skin without overdoing it. Keep a veil of mystery, by wearing a long pleated flowing skirt. Break the bareness of your wrist by wearing charm bracelets.  Hear the chains and beads jangle as you dance your way to the night.

Whatever the reason maybe, charm bracelets will never loose its "charm".

Everyday Embellished Necklaces

Our "Awit ng Ibong Adarna" was a breakout from our usual large statement embellished necklaces. Before creating this piece, we used to make large embellished necklaces reserved for special occasions. A good friend and client suggested that we make the necklaces into a smaller one which can be used everyday.

We value our client's suggestions so we came out with these necklaces.

Unlike our regular chokers, the measurement of the felt cloth base for these necklaces is between 1"-1.5".  Even before releasing the designs online, our loyal clients purchased the first five designs and we still get many reorders for these pieces.

We then reviewed our past collections and chose designs which can be reduced to a smaller necklace without sacrificing the design patterns.

Our latest pieces "Clarissa" and "Corazon" followed the same principles of "Awit ng Ibong Adarna Collection". We used crystals, semi-precious stones and mother of pearls to attach each sewn pattern.
