Supladita, Your Fashion and Style Gallery

It’s no secret that almost every girl on the planet has, at least once in her life, wanted to run her own boutique or start her own clothing line. Females have a special affinity for clothes; where a man usually sees a basic need, a woman will see an opportunity to make the world a little bit better, more vibrant, and more pleasing to the eyes. But although this dream has only been a passing fancy for most women, it has certainly come true for Supladita proprietor Jennifer Montano.

Growing up, Jennifer has always enjoyed traveling—taking in the sights, immersing herself in different cultures, and, of course, sampling the local retail fare. It was on her frequent trips that she started to collect designer bags and apparel, and began to acquire a taste for products with both great design and craftsmanship. As it turns out, along with her style evolution came the admiration of friends who loved her pieces so much that she eventually would sell some of these to them! The entire process of traveling and shopping, not just for herself but for her friends as well, appealed to Jennifer very much; thus, after being at it for several years, she came to the natural progression of wanting to start a boutique and turning her passion and hobby into a full-fledged career. And after months of arduous preparation, Supladita is finally here!

Supladita is the answer to what Ms. Montano perceives to be the need of Filipina women for stylish yet affordable clothes that are locally available. Now, you won’t have to go to Hong Kong or Bangkok or the USA to score a fashionable deal! At the moment, the apparel, bags, and other accessories, some coming from Palamuti by PJ Valenciano available at the boutique comprises of pieces that are specially curated by the owner to suit the tastes of their patrons—both in terms of style and price range—expect to be treated to a wide array of the loveliest and most curious items from all over the country and the continent as well. Jen is also currently studying Fashion Design to better address the needs of her market and to ensure that Pinays will always find a great selection in the boutique, regardless of what the rest of the fashion industry produces.

If you want a unique and quaint shopping experience, the Supladita boutique at #79 West Avenue in Quezon City is an absolute must-visit for you! Watch out for the opening of their stores in shopping malls over the next year or so too!
